Write for Us — Contribute to Ittihad Legal Consultants Blog

Are you a legal professional, practicing attorney, law researcher, or legal writer looking for a credible platform to share your expertise? Ittihad Legal Consultants invites qualified contributors to write for us and publish original, well-researched articles on our law blog.

We serve an audience of individuals navigating real legal challenges — from immigration hurdles to family disputes and business compliance issues. If your writing can help them, we want to read it.

Who should write for us

We accept submissions from:

  • Licensed attorneys and practicing lawyers with direct experience in their field
  • Legal researchers and academics contributing evidence-based analysis
  • Law students with strong faculty supervision or mentorship background
  • Legal content writers with a verifiable track record in law-related writing

If you have expertise in a legal area that affects real people, you belong here.

Topics we accept

We accept guest posts across the following legal areas:

Family Law — Divorce proceedings, child custody arrangements, adoption, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence legal remedies, and family mediation.

Immigration Law — Visa applications, work permit processes, asylum claims, citizenship pathways, deportation defense, and immigration policy analysis.

Business and Corporate Law — Company formation, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, partnership disputes, intellectual property basics, and business litigation.

Criminal Law — Criminal defense strategies, rights of the accused, bail procedures, sentencing reforms, case analysis, and procedural law breakdowns.

General Legal Guidance — Attorney-client relationships, how to find the right lawyer, understanding legal fees, court procedures for non-lawyers, and legal literacy content.

If your topic falls outside these categories but is clearly legal in nature and serves our audience, pitch it. We consider well-argued exceptions.

Submission guidelines

Read these carefully. Articles that do not meet these standards are rejected without detailed feedback.

Content requirements

Word count: Minimum 1,000 words. Articles between 1,200 and 1,800 words tend to perform best on our platform. Do not pad your article to hit the word count — depth matters, not length.

Originality: Your submission must be 100% original and unpublished. It cannot be live anywhere else online — not your own blog, not another legal site, not a medium publication. We check.

Accuracy: All legal claims, case references, and statistics must be cited. If you reference a law, include the statute. If you cite a court decision, name the case. Unsupported legal assertions will be edited out or returned to you.

No AI-generated content: We do not accept articles written by AI tools. Submissions that fail AI detection checks are rejected outright. Your voice, your expertise.

Formatting requirements

  • Use H2 and H3 headings to structure the article — do not submit a wall of text
  • Keep paragraphs to 3-4 lines maximum
  • Use bullet points and numbered lists only where they genuinely help readability
  • Include one recommended featured image (royalty-free, minimum 1200x628px) — optional but encouraged
  • Submit in Google Docs (with commenter access) or as a .docx file

What we do not accept

  • Content that has been spun, rewritten, or paraphrased from existing articles
  • Promotional content for legal firms, products, or services disguised as editorial
  • Affiliate links anywhere in the article body
  • Generic “top 10 tips” content without legal specificity or real insight
  • Opinion pieces without supporting legal reasoning or citations
  • Content outside UAE, international, or commonly applicable legal contexts

How to submit your guest post

Follow this process exactly — deviating from it slows down your review.

Step 1 — Send a pitch first (optional but recommended) Email us your proposed topic, a 2-3 sentence outline of your angle, and your credentials. We respond to pitches within 5 business days. If your pitch is approved, you can write knowing your topic is a fit before investing the time.

Step 2 — Submit your completed article Email your article to

request.forbacklink@gmail.com

with the subject line: Guest Post Submission: [Your Topic Here]

Include the following in your email:

  • Your completed article (Google Doc link or .docx attachment)
  • A 2-3 sentence author bio with your name, credentials, and one link to your professional website or LinkedIn profile
  • Your full name and any legal credentials or bar membership details

Step 3 — Wait for editorial review Our editorial team reviews every submission. We respond within two weeks. If we need revisions, we will tell you exactly what to change and why.

Review process

Every submission goes through the following checks:

  1. Plagiarism check — We run every article through plagiarism detection software. Any similarity above 10% is returned.
  2. AI content check — Submissions that appear AI-generated are declined.
  3. Legal accuracy review — Our editorial team reviews claims and citations for accuracy.
  4. Editorial standards — Grammar, structure, tone, and formatting are assessed.
  5. Fit assessment — Does this genuinely help our audience?

If accepted, you will receive confirmation with your expected publication date. We reserve the right to make minor edits for clarity, grammar, and platform formatting without altering your arguments or legal positions.

Why write for Ittihad Legal Consultants

Reach a targeted legal audience. Our readers are people actively seeking legal guidance — not casual browsers. Your article reaches people who need exactly what you know.

Build searchable authority. Published articles on our platform are indexed and discoverable. Your work stays up, continues to rank, and builds your online presence over time.

One do-follow backlink in your bio. You receive one do-follow link to your professional website or LinkedIn profile in your author bio. This is a permanent link — we do not remove it after publication.

Credibility that compounds. Regular contributors establish themselves as trusted voices in their legal niche. This opens doors to consultations, referrals, and professional recognition.

Genuine editorial support. We do not just publish and ignore. If your article needs work, we tell you specifically what to improve. We would rather help you succeed than reject silently.

Terms and conditions

Content ownership: You retain full ownership of your work. By submitting, you grant Ittihad Legal Consultants a perpetual, non-exclusive license to publish, format, and share the content across our website and social media channels.

Exclusivity window: We request a 90-day exclusivity period from the date of publication before you republish the article elsewhere. After 90 days, you may republish with a canonical link back to the original post on our site.

Compensation: Contributions are unpaid. What you receive is a professional platform, backlink, and exposure to a relevant audience.

Link policy: One do-follow link in the author bio only. No links inside the article body to your own website or affiliate pages. External links to authoritative legal sources (statutes, court decisions, government portals, bar association resources) within the article are encouraged.

Non-promotional content: Articles must not function as advertisements for legal services. Mentioning your practice area in context is acceptable. Promoting your firm, pricing, or contact details within the article is not.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to hear back after submission?

We respond to all submissions within two weeks. If you sent a pitch first and it was approved, turnaround is usually faster — around 5-7 business days.

Do I need to be a licensed lawyer to submit a guest post?

Not necessarily. We accept submissions from law students, legal researchers, and experienced legal writers. However, the article must reflect genuine subject knowledge and cite appropriate sources. Opinion without substance is not something we publish.

Can I include a link to my law firm’s website in the article?

No. Links within the article body to your own firm or professional services are not permitted. Your one do-follow link goes in the author bio.

Will you edit my article before publishing?

We may make minor edits for grammar, formatting, or clarity. We will not change your legal arguments or positions without your approval. If significant changes are needed, we will contact you first.

Can I republish my article on my own blog after it is live on your site?

Yes, after a 90-day exclusivity window. When you do republish, set a canonical link pointing to the original post on our website to protect both parties’ SEO.

What legal topics perform best on your blog?

Articles that answer specific, practical legal questions — written in plain language without sacrificing accuracy — consistently perform best. “How does child custody work in a contested divorce” outperforms “An overview of family law” every time. Write for the person searching, not the court.

Can I submit more than one article?

Yes. Regular contributors who maintain quality standards are welcome. Send each article as a separate submission.

What happens if my article is rejected?

You will receive a brief explanation of why. You retain full rights to your article and can submit it elsewhere. We do not hold rejected content.
